We compare the interface and various features of MacOS Mojave and High Sierra to help you decide which iOS is better for you.
After months of rumors, Apple pulled the curtain back on the next version of its operating system coming to Mac computers later this year: OS X 10.11 El Capitan.
Starcraft 2 battlenet down. Named after a peak at Yosemite National Park, El Capitan builds on what Apple's existing OS software — Yosemite — offers, with a big focus on experience and performance. The update will be available via a public beta release in July and will be downloadable for everyone — for free — this fall.

OS X El Capitan will introduce the ability to multi-task via two apps side by side with a feature called Split View, in a move we've already seen executed by Microsoft. Also coming: updates to mail, the Spotlight search function, gestures and Safari. Speed was also emphasized during the keynote — apps will launch 1.4 faster with the latest software.
The company showed an extensive sneak peek of OS X El Capitan at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco. We were also treated to a first look at iOS 9 — which will give devices three additional hours of battery life — and Apple Music, a music streaming service available for $9.99 a month for iOS, OS and Android users.
Apple's tagline for the event this year is 'the epicenter of change,' but the updates to OS X are more about performance enhancements and fixes than anything else.

What Comes After El Capitan Os
Last year, Apple released OS X Yosemite, the most radical design change we've seen from the operating system since OS X launched in 2001. The free upgrade came with a completely different interface — a flatter look and brighter colors — and greater integration with iOS 8.
Apple's Craig Federighi, senior VP of software engineering, said that 55% of Mac users have already upgraded to Yosemite since its October debut.
The name of the latest software is in line with Apple's trend of giving its OS X California-themed monikers. After years of going through a cat phase — Lion, Snow Leopard, Tiger, Panther and so on — Apple switched to names inspired by its home state. In 2013, it launched Mavericks (OS X 10.9) as a tribute to the local surfing community and Yosemite (OS X 10.10), named after the national park.
Features
Apple highlighted some of the features coming to OS El Capitan that aim to make the user experience more seamless. Although a small addition, there's now the ability to make your mouse cursor bigger so it's easier to find.
Safari is also getting a few new bells and whistles, allowing users to mute tabs via the address bar and pin sites to the browser (similar to bookmarking). Meanwhile, the Spotlight search function now has more user control — you can finally resize the panel and manage the size of the apps. You'll be able to search for weather, web videos and sports scores directly via spotlight, too. Difference between 5th and 6th generation i5.

What Is After El Capitan
Mail is getting a slight reboot with the help of new gestures. Users will be able to swipe to delete messages in the Mail app, the company said. There's a new Notes app that lets you drag and drop photos, PDFs, videos and other files directly from other apps (like Maps) via a Share menu.
And if you look close enough, you'll notice a new system font called San Francisco.

Another win: Apple will be boosting Mac performance and battery life with the help of Metal, which launched last year with iOS 8. This will allow programs and apps with a lot of graphics to run more smoothly.

Although these features are hardly revolutionary, Apple is placing great emphasis on making it as easy as possible for users to navigate the software.
